No April Fool's Day Joke

Well I'm alive and not it was no April Fool's Day joke. Sorry for the cryptic post but I had a friend post that for me becuase I didn't know when I'd be in front of a computer again.

So what happened? Well last Thursday morning I was taking the dog out before I went to work and the grass was wet. I turned my ankle in such a way that it completed dislocated my ankle and broke the outside (smaller) bone in my left leg. I laid in the grass for 10 minutes screaming for help before a neighbor heard me and called 911. The hospital set it (sort of) and sent me to an ortho specialist who set it better and scheduled me for surgery. So I had my surgery yesterday morning and was released from the hospital this afternoon.

I'm recuperating at my Aunt's house as Eagle was supposed to start her 30 day jail sentence today, however, that's been postponed until tomorrow. But I'll be staying with my Aunt until Eagle is released as I cannot put any pressure on my foot for six to eight weeks.

So that's the update for now, I will be back on line in the next few days after I've propped my foot up to get the swelling down. Thanks for the notes and well wishes! I'm in pain, but I'm alive. :)
