Rant on assholes against same-sex marriage

I want to know who gave the narrow minded, jerks who founded the American Family Association the power to decide what constitutes American family values. Can anyone tell me this? It infuriates me to no end that they feel that a family can only be a healthy, "normal", family if it is comprised of a male and female parent. Don't they look around? Don't they see how many fucked up kids there are even with the benefit of having a mom and a dad? How stupid and niave are they to believe that it actually matters what sex the parents are, as opposed to how they treat their children? Ugh!

And then I read THE MOST cockamamey article, not that they aren't all stupid in some way or another, but this takes the cake! It's about a man and his wife who were interviewed by CBS about their family values and their views against same-sex marriage. Turns out the man was supposedly gay and then went straight....he says, "During the interview, Irene and I powerfully shared how I used to be "gay" -- and now how I am no longer homosexual. We told the interviewer how I lived the "gay" lifestyle for over eleven years, sexually active with over 100 male partners -- many whom are dead today from AIDS. We shared how I walked away from it all in 1992 -- never to return to my dysfunctional past again -- and how I no longer struggle with homosexuality whatsoever." Apparently CBS made the wise choice of not airing that bullshit.

Now what the fuck is that? Okay Mr. Jerkface, guess what? You never were gay then, you were BI-FUCKING-SEXUAL you idiot! Just because you were able to stop getting your jollies with men and settle down with the woman you love, DOES NOT MEAN that gayness is curable! You Asshole! It's idiots like that the cause people to think that being gay is a choice....dammit!

I applaud CBS for not airing his stupid, idiotic comments. Yeah!

So now the AFA has a poll going on their website asking for opinions on same sex marraige. Well OF COURSE most people that go to their website are narrow minded fools so their poll reflects a 68% view against same-sex marriage. But my hope is that we can get enough gays and gay supports to go cast a vote on their site. So if you support same-sex marraiges then please do me the favor of going to AFA Marriage Poll and cast your vote. Let's see if we can show them that homosexuality is not a disease, it is not going to go away no matter how much they wish it so. Let's show them that we are here to stay and in fact, don't want a fucking cure! We want to raise children in a happy, loving home, with full benefits, and tax credits, and everything else that the rest of society gets.

Remind me not to go read their website again, it just pisses me off!
