It's Friday and it's payday and my baby and I have had some really great weeks. Last night she was so great. She put on my favorite shows, we ordered pizza, watched a movie, and then went upstairs and fell asleep. This morning I woke up to several love notes written on the dry erase boards we have through out the house. Last night as she went out and poured me a glass of wine and brought it to me, then turned on my taped show "Lost" that she hates, but knows I love it; and emptied my lunch bag and washed out the containers, I realized that I've got it pretty damn good with Eagle. She can be a challenge at times, I know t hat, but when she is good (which is more and more lately), I realized that noone has ever done for me what she does on a consistent basis. My exhusband never pampered me, never really did anything for me. Yeah he knew my favorite foods and surprised me with stuff like that, but it was a very limited thing. He never cooked or cleaned. He never said "come here" and gave me a massage. He never did any of the sweet things that Eagle does. And MyExGF? Well yeah she could do some romantic stuff every now and then, but most of the time, she did not. Most of the time she was bitchy and crabby. Most of the time she was bossy and controlling. I think I've been so busy worrying about all Eagle's problems, that I forget to see the love and tender care there. Part of that is because her problems have been upfront and in my face and pretty hard not to have handle. But the more she seems to be overcoming this problems the more I see what it was that led me to her in the first place.

I wanted someone to love me the way that I love them, and finally I have that. And it feels really good.
