new appliances and a buzz cut

I'm here, busy, but here. This is my first chance to actually update. The day is flying by though which is a good thing.

So Friday, Eagle and her mom went to go look at a new fridge for our place because ours was acting up. Friday afternoon Eagle called to say that her mother bought us a new fridge AND a new stove! Wow. I was pretty floored. They got delivered today, so I get to go home and seem them tonight. How exciting!

Eagle and I got along great all weekend. Things have really smoothed out over the past few months. She even went through PMS this time without any fighting. Just some crabbiness, but that's about it.

Oh and the biggest news is that last night, in a fit of "oh let's just do it," Eagle decided to shave her head! Yes, she shaved it right down to a buzz cut. She really doesn't look too bad. I think a week's worth of growth will do it wonders though. She's happy with it, she said she always wanted to do it, now she has.

Other than all that excitement, not much more to report. I'm busy at work as usual lately, and enjoying it. Makes the time fly by. Looking forward to going home to see our new appliances. Feeling thankful for Eagle and for her family; despite their faults, they take good care of her, and in turn of me.
