Eagle's Gift
2004-09-09, 8:47 a.m.

Well my first evening alone was last night and it was nice. Even though Eagle came by and brought two of her clients with her. She has to be with them for her shift, but it doesn't matter where they go, or what they do. So, when she asked them if they wanted to see where she lived, they both jumped at the chance. They are both very sweet. Rose is in her 50's and talks really loudly, but she's got the sweet and charming innocence of a child. Carolyn is her roommate, she is a little bit higher functioning than Rose, but she has a wonderful demeanor. They just met Eagle and they talked to her like an old friend. Eagle has that gift. Probably because she can identify in someways with them. I don't know, but she puts them at ease.

After they left, I curled up on the couch and watched whatever I wanted on t.v. Then Eagle came home and we had some good conversation then went up stairs and to bed.

Her moods have stablized for the time being, she's still coughing, but not as bad. Things seem to be smoothing out...I'm just hoping it stays that way for awhile.
