I'm feeling great today. I got some really great news. I was asked to head a committee!! We are currently going through a major reorganization at work and I've been asked to head a committee dealing with one specific part of it. I'm very excited and honored. I realize other people would be like, "gee I don't want the headache," but this is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. I want to use my brain, I want to challenge myself. I'm very happy. I suddenly feel more valued at work then ever before.

And finally it gives me SOMETHING to take my mind off of love!
